Adani-Managed Haifa Port Unscathed Following Iran's Missile Strikes on Israel

As reported by PTI, Iran launched ballistic missiles late Saturday that struck areas surrounding the port, including a refinery and a chemical terminal.

Although some missiles impacted parts of the refinery and debris fell near the chemical terminal, there were no casualties and the operational infrastructure suffered no significant damage. Crucially, the section of the port managed by Adani remained intact, ensuring uninterrupted cargo operations.
A fragment of interceptor shrapnel was discovered at Kishan West within the Haifa Port. However, port authorities confirmed that the eight ships currently docked are continuing cargo activities without any hindrance.
Haifa Port serves as a vital logistics center, managing over 30 percent of Israel's imports. The Adani Group's acquisition of a controlling interest in the port aligns with its broader strategy to expand its global port operations.
Even amidst regional geopolitical tensions, the operations at Adani Ports persist without disruption, highlighting both the port's robustness and the efficacy of Israel's missile defense systems.
