A Passing Out Parade and Valedictory Function took place at the National Institute of Hydrography (NIH) in Goa, marking the conclusion of the AVR (HY) – 83:647 Course. This event saw the graduation of 54 trainees, including four from friendly foreign nations.

The ceremony represented the end of a 12-week foundational professional training aimed at equipping trainees with the necessary skills to become hydrographers. This specialization is essential for facilitating maritime navigation, conducting hydrographic surveys, and supporting operational planning.

The Officer-in-Charge of the National Institute of Hydrography reviewed the parade, inspecting the graduating group and applauding the trainees for completing the challenging course.
